Gotha Go 242 and 244 released by baldy

He 111Z

Hi Kevin

The only model I know is Kazunori Ito's which is for FS2002/Fs2004 and is available at FlightSim so someone would have to try a conversion but Mr Ito is firmly against converting any of his stuff to CFS and that has to be respected.

The only alternative would be for someone to build a cfs 2 model from scratch.

Hi Baldy,

Thanks, that's the only one I could find. It appears Dombral did his own conversion.

Gotha Go 242B-1

Have just uploaded the improved Go 242B-1 glider - this a/c was fitted with a tricycle undercarriage to take-off /land from prepared airstrips showing possibly more use as a transport a/c than an assault a/c.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - German

Description: This glider was a development of the original Go 242. The major difference being that instead of jettisonable undercarriage for take-off and skids for landing it was equipped with a fixed tricycle undercarriage for normal take-off/landing. This was probably because gliders were more often used for transport duties than for assault landings, except in Yugoslavia and Southern France against partisans.
