Graphics problem

SOH-CM-2023
Well I'm at a complete lose as to why this is. I have five CFS2 installs and only the Europe one has this issue and that just recently. I have the fix in the CFG:

[DISPLAY]
Device=NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780
Mode=1680x1050x16
Dither=0
Filter=1
TriLinear=1
MipMap=1
AntiAlias=1
HWTnL=1
Disable=0

Also, now most of the VC panels have instruments missing and background not right. All the other installs are still fine. I must have done something, I hope someone can help as I have spent years building this Europe CFS2.

Thanks

Steve

Display should be Mode=1680x1050x32. Also check the Image Quality CFS2 they may have been set to lowest.

My display should be Mode will not go past 16 in this or any of the five installs, and they all work just fine!? What I don't get is my SCENEDB/World/scenery folder will not now generate a filelist.dat either, nor can I change scenery in the library now. Something sure happened in the last 4 hours to make this happen. Here is an example of the issue with aircraft that I'm now having that has never been a problem until now.

Oh Nuts:banghead:. I'd been correcting the stock CFS2.cfg in stead of the Europe CFS2.CFG. I really didn't think there were two in the main folder, but there was! The World/scenery will still not generate a filelist.dat. Anyway all seems well now. Thanks for the advise and if anyone knows about the filelist not regenerating, I'd be interested.

I agree Allen, however it's not doing so. I might try to delete a scenery and when I restart, the deleted scenery is back again! There is no file list.dat there. Go figure.

I finally found the problem with my World/scenery not generating a new filelist.dat on start up. I compared my Euro installs scenery.cfg to my Med install. I found that in [Area.002] looked like this:

[Area.002]
Title=Terrain
Local=
Active=TRUE
Texture_ID=1
Layer=2
Required=FALSE
Remote=[CFS2_DISK2]Scenedb\world

When I copied and pasted the same area.002 from my Med install, the filelist.dat was now regenerated as normal. The replaced section looks like this now:

[Area.002]
Title=Terrain
Local=Scenedb\world
Active=TRUE
Texture_ID=1
Layer=1
Required=TRUE
Remote=

I hope this helps someone in the future that might have this same issue.

Steve
