Gravity fed fuel

Does anyone know what needs to be changed in an aircraft.cfg or *.air file that will make an aircraft's engine cut out when in inverted flight?

Under [piston_engine]

Look for:

fuel_metering_type= 0 //0=Fuel Injected, 1=Gravity Carburetor, 2=Aerobatic Carburetor

:)

Hmm the aircraft in question, the VS Boeing Strearman already has this section in the aircraft.cfg but I can fly inverted as long as I care to. Maybe the fuel tank position within the model isn't corrctly placed?

Ahhhh... it my overly cautious realism settings:redf:. moving the sliders of the "General" tab to the right works.

You are talking about the military version, right? The civilian (aerobatic) version does have an aerobatic carb and is supposed to be able to fly inverted. At least, that's the way mine are, straight out of the box.
