Ground control and Parking

I've worked with getting AI to park in the right spot, but what about flyables?
When you are handed off to ground control, what aircraft.cfg entries determine where you are sent to?
Can you assign a specific spot to a flyable aircraft?

The most accurate answer is no. FS will handle assignments for AI, but mostly disregards the user aircraft.

There are a few tweaks or two that can be done that will get the user aircraft into the spot you wished for (most of the time), by proper sizing instead of airline name as with AI.

Thank you Brent - I do have the "Opa" T&T in a folder somewhere but missed this one.
I think it may just do what I'm after...

Take 2:
No matter what I do, this won't work - the problem is at FlyTampa Vienna, and there is always an AI plane at the gate Ground Control sends you to.
I worked this around, by removing the AFCAD parking spot at Gate 31, and directing AES (using the parking increment/decrement function) to take me there.
Doesn't appear to be any loss of functionality.
