Ground Effects gauge folder..who did it?

OBIO

Retired SOH Admin
In my Gauges folder, I have a folder of XLM gauges for Ground Effects. I have no idea what plane those gauges came with, no idea who wrote them. I would like to know who did them so I could contact them and see if they could modify one of them...or allow me to ask someone else modify it.

Okay...two of the gauges control the Smoke effects....turn SMOKE on below a set Radio Radar Height (50 feet or less above the ground) and over a set air speed (250 knots or greater). This gauge will allow one to have those cool dust/waper vapor trails seen behind low low low flying jets.

But...I want to change the coding to turn on one of the lights (Wing light or Logo light or something like that) so that the effect can be set lower than the aircraft and not just display behind the aircraft.

So, does anyone know who did these gauges and/or what aircraft package they came with?

Tim,

two things spring to mind.

Firstly, Nick Needam's Propdust, crash, etc series of effects, they have gauge controllers as far as I can tell for lots of effects. I don't use them, never have so can't be sure.

Secondly, I remember way back when in CFS2 that someone created effect controllers for certain things, one springs to mind, Greenghosts water effects. Other than that, cannot remember.

What format gauge are they, .gau or XML? That might narrow it down some.

Jamie

PS, XML, I see, lol. Can't be Greenghost then.
