Grumman J2F-6 Duck "Murphy's War".zip

SOH-CM-2025
A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Skins

Description: Textures only for Paul Clawson's Grumman J2F Duck as seen in the film "Murphy's War". Since the cowling can't be removed to depict the beat-up movie plane, this repaint shows what that Duck would've looked like in its better days. This repaint includes a special model file prepared by Paul Clawson that will properly color a few untextured bits and pieces. Released with a big Thank You to Paul for the modified mdl file!

Problem with model

G'Day!

Loved the "Bad Duck" model. Very well made VC!

Everything works fine. My problem is with the "Murphy's War" add-on. When I select that model, the sim (FSX-Steam) locks up and then crashes. It's only with that model; all the others appear to work fine.

Again, great job!

I didn't have any problem with the model. I did change the panel to Milton's FSXMallard for a quick test and also changed the Sound folder. It works and flies fine in my FSX.

Odd. Okay, I will look into it further because I really love the "Murphy" model. Takes me back to the days of the drive-in theatre with my dad watching "Murphy's War."
