• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Good news, for now.

I'm pleased to say Reg's Hanger should continue for another year since its site fees were paid automatically just recently. What happens next year is less clear.

A drive to re-upload here their CFS2 and CFS3 stuff should be launched anyway.....the fact that I do not see the link to the downloads anymore raises my antennas....

I'm sorry to say Reg's Hanger has gone. The link above gives the details. There are hopes of arranging a new host but the original host no longer has it. Sorry.

Hi Rami,

As far as I know there shouldn't be any issues with SOH hosting any of the work at Reg's. Having said that I don't think Mathias as been in contact, so it would be better to have all parties giving the ok!

Greg is still trying to get something together with a couple of interested parties who are willing to keep the site going, so hold off for the time being, I will keep you up to date as soon as I hear something myself.

It's back up at the moment, Greg has sorted the payment issues out, and it looks like we have someone who will take over hosting in the future, so all looks good!

No objections from my end as far as rehosting at SOH goes.

I can safely say that this is true for the aircraft I was involved in (He111, Bf110, Swordfish, Do24) and for campaigns and missions done by Cliff Burgess.
Certainly hope Greg and John will giver their okay, too.

Hello Everyone,

Greg has taken me up on my offer to handle the hosting of Reg's Hanger. I do consider it a privilege to care for the site. I felt it was something I could do to give back to the group and I wish to thank Greg and the others that have content on Reg’s for the trust they have put in me.

As you all know the site is currently up and running. Greg and I are currently working on the process of transferring the domain and the hosting at the same time. Hopefully the transfer will be seamless but we all know that things can happen and Reg’s could temporarily go down during that process. If that happens I have set up a mirror site to Reg's at: http://www.mrjmaint.com/RegsHanger.

In the mean time I am going through the site pages to familiarize myself with Greg’s file structure and taking the time to clean up some of the old links. For example a lot of the aircraft pages link to the old AvHistory site. I am changing them to link to the appropriate file links at SOH.

I will be keeping everyone posted as to the progress of thetransfer.
