GW3...close to home..Some assistance please.

I decided to do a dedicated install of GW3. I've got Golden Wings, Update 1, 2, and the Graf Zepplin installed. The .exe has been renamed to FSGW3 and I'm ready to jump in. Although after being to TOH, I feel as if I'm drowning. (confused)

I'd like to start off by adding all the scenery that's close to home. Washington state (if there is any...I hope), then grow from there.

Any help to get me going will keep me away from the :guinness: :icon_lol:

when you get it goin'
fly down to the Canal,
head North until you get to the Straights,
head West a bit and drop into Sequim Bay for a visit.
hopefully, you've got a floatplane
or your feet are going to get wet.

Sequim Bay......ahh yes. The wife and I were to goto the 7 Cedars Casino last night for the All You Can Eat seafood. I was looking forward to it for weeks. Yesterday, right at the last minute, I was called out on emergency response and had to work late. By the time I got off work i was so tired and bummed out...my whiskey glass runneth over me and sent me to bed after a score of three:engel016:

personally, I prefer Steak Night.

as I recall, they have a pretty good Chapino at John Wayne Marina.
actually, they have a very good menu,
but it's spendy.
 
For Golden WIngs scenery....head to Flightsim.com. Do a search for Leon Loius....download all of his scenery. It's going to take you quite some time to do that. A few of his scenery was done for the Misty Fjords payware mesh and doesn't work right with Rhumbaflappy's mesh that I use, not sure how it will work with other mesh sets. Most of Leon's scenery willl work fine with stock or aftermarket mesh.

Not sure how much of the scenery is in Washington, but I know there are a couple that stated they were in Washington....I don't have it all installed yet so really can't do a look see.

I haven't done any searching for additional GW3 specific scenery beyond what is on TOH and that which was done by Leon.

Dunno what happened. GW3 crashes after adding sceneries and acft. So..I'm deleting everything and starting over. I'm really not in the mood for this crap
