Thanks for that, I didn’t know about the radio signal “Ham and Jam” but I did know someone who was at the capture of Pegasus Bridge. Amusingly, his surname was Ham! He was a great friend of my late father in law and a great character to the end.

How brilliant! I met one of the Glider Pilots many years ago at a talk he did about the Glider Pilot Regiment.
