• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Having a issue here with my wireless signal..
Can't get a good signal right now.
Working to sort this out..
Can't do much right now..

Uploads are timing out and losing signal ..
Will continue to upload missions sets as I can ..
Will take a few days to sort this..

Network cable, Owen. Plugs into PC one end and router at other: no WiFi mumbo jumbo necessary, very reliable. Or are you using your PC upside down again?:173go1:

Hi there HH!

1. I agree with Hairyspin, cable is always better than Wifi.
2. You helped me immensely with setting up CFS3 and the addons....

I there is anything I can do to help you, let me know. I am a network and system admin for the federal government of my country. PM me!

You can start by setting up a fixed Ip in the range of your router, that usually helps. If you don't know how to, again, PM me and we'll sort this out!

Getting signal in my LAN card in my computer , I was using a neighbor's, paid for this.. That has ended..

He moved out into a place with his girl friend.. left Wife and kids , And didn't pay the bills before he left..
I paid Him to use his signal, for the next three months ahead..now he is gone..
Such is life for some folks I guess..

Now picking up a signal from the McDonald's about a 1/2 mile away..I have a Hugh powered antenna from a friend can pick up wireless signals up to two miles away..with this LAN card..
But getting a weak signal right now..Intermittent..

Working to get my own connection again here, just need to get the money together.
On ward and up ward!

Hairy I didn't know computers had a up side!! :icon_lol:
