Thanks Mike, et al. Got about the best birthday gift I have ever received, a 5th generation Apple iPod. How in God's name I did without something like this for this long, I have no idea. I love it. Got a $50.00 iTunes Music card too. :jump:

Loving the Nano Mike, but it's gonna kill my next check! :icon_lol:

So many songs to download, they sound better than my old LPs, even though my old LP have been kept pristine and few have scratches. I still copy some songs from LPs over to the HD through Roxio and saved them in an MP3 format. I had been doing so for MP3 CDs, which my Honda Fit plays also.

But the Nano is a whole 'nother ball game. How on earth have I done without one of these for this long as much as I listen and love my music? So far I have been downloading a lot of John Prine, Tom T. Hall, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, and John Stewart (of the Kinston Trio). That music carries better than old R & R for me. I have almost come to the point where I despise even listening to R & R.

But now da Blues, dat's another story. I got a whole playlist saved for da Blues. :applause: And Jazz. And Classical...................................

Thanks fellas,
Caz
