Having lost my dad almost five years ago, I am very conscious of this very thing and take every opportunity to play with my kids and be a dad, just like my father was. I never completely appreciated what he did for me until I became a parent.
Field of Dreams was one of my favorite movies as a teenager and young adult, now I can't get through the last half-hour of that movie without bawling my eyes out. We went to so many baseball games together.
