Happy Motoring in my Sopwith Pup . .

In all this time, and after countless attempts, I was Never able to drive the model 'T' off the base. I could spin doughnuts in the field, and check out the road, in back of the Hangers. But anytime I tried to get off the base property, I'd find the minefield.

Others told of travelling between bases, even racing a locomotive to the crossing. I was convinced my DELL had something to do with it, and left it at that.

Today I finally got off the base on a road, although I was taxiing my Sopwith Pup. The only challange was an almost head-on meeting with a truck, could have easily flown over him, but I elected to stay on the ground. Just managed to let him past, without smashing my wing on a tree. What Must've been the mines, were the occasional flash upon striking a single blade of WM's exploding grass( it still exists)

But I found an army base, and another airfield other than my own :applause::kilroy:

How about the bicycle?

I've had similar experiences with the Ford, but I've driven the bike off base a few times. Perhaps the narrower wheelbase has something to do with it.
While I'm sure you are aware, just a word to those who have used the sim exclusively for flying; DON'T start in the air when using the more... terrestrial vehicles. Landings are hard an cars that aren't Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang

Didn't try the Moped LATELY, but when I did, I blended into a convoy of trucks, thought I had it made. They went up a small hill, and I exploded. NEXT:ernae:

Hey, when I fly the bike or the truck I always walk away from the wreck. No harm done.

Nary a scratch on me, from all the explosions. I'd just like a 3 Day Pass, with me motor vehicale. Seems it won't come to fruetion . .Oh Well !!

Gimpy, Gimpy...

... just when I got used to imagine you as an unpleased grumbler, you come drivin' in with a Sopwith plane on a motorway, happily rolling from here to there, watching the gras explode, and making my belly ache from laughing about that picture. You saved my day today!
Cheers;

Olham

Gimpy on a three day pass.... now something tells me "hide the booze and your daughters" hehehe
