Just wanted to wish everyone here an early Happy New Year. The SOH is truly the best FS forum that's out there.
Also, as an owner of an LG Flex 42 OLED, the announcement of a new pair of large OLEDs is pretty exciting. While I'm very happy with my Flex 42, if you're considering a new monitor, the two new 21:9 45" OLEDs by LG promise to be quite remarkable. One has a fixed curve and the other has the same Flex feature as mine. While I prefer 16:9 for flightsim, I know there are a lot of you who like widescreen aspect ratios.
Having said that, I am hoping that LG (or someone) will make a 16:9 48" OLED Flex monitor some day. The Flex 42 is very immersive, but a 48" to 50" size at normal viewing distances would be incredible.
PS: No, I don't own LG stock...
