As many of you know, we lost our hard drive a while back. Didn't have any back-up either.
When we got our new HD put in, we were told that the only place to try and retrieve anything off it was in the southern part of our state and would run at least $700 not to mention the cost of a external HD.
Well, we told my wife's brother about it. He's a computer guy out by Atlanta. He told us to send our old HD to him and he'd see what he could do. A couple weeks later he calls and says he thinks he can get almost everything off of it! So we buy an external and send it to him. Well, yesterday we received our external back. ALL of our lost stuff has returned!!!!! Unbelievable.
I guess the things were most happy to get back is our pictures and my wifes word documents (she's writing a book).
I'd just like to thank everyone here who's helped me gather many of the Flight Sim stuff that was lost. At least I won't have to gather anymore. Still have to reinstall, but at least I know where the stuff is now!
