Designed for FSX, I found this Razbam version of the Harrier works better in P3D.

good stuff Rock,Now,if someone would make a IA-58 Pucara,we could go online with some Falklands scenery and dogfight..........lol......well you could strafe and bomb the ground units and i could try to run?.......ok..that wasnt nice..dont mean to offend any Argentinians.i do,at times, wonder what may have happened had so many of the Pucara's hadnt been either caught on the ground,or had not had the nose wheel collapses that they suffered on the Island.

Dave,
The Harrier involved in dogfighting during the Falklands war was a Sea Harrier which was the fighter version (and a lot earlier model) and it spent most of it's time hunting the Argentine Mirage's, Skyhawk's and Etendards.
If your interested Commander David "Sharkey" Ward's book Sea Harrier Over the Falklands is well worth a read, it gives a very good account.

Ian

Very nice video !
Which Harrier is that ? I have the Razbam Harrier too, but mine's the AV-8B I think, and I'm not sure I have these weapons.
Also, there are quite a lot of nice things I don't recall seeing in mine... for example, some of the sounds and some of the buttons... but I might be mistaken.
Anyways, since ther $10 sales is still on, I guess I shouldn't hesitate to pickup the "other" Harrier they did, right ? :D

PS: don't you get a crash to desktop when you try to call one of the 2D panels ? (SHIFT+1 or 2 I don't remember... not the payload manager, the other one).

Thank you Daube for the nice words! This is the second iteration of the Razbam Harriers GR 7&9. The problem with the AV8 B package stems from the RZAV8BCM.dll in modules.
The .dll has the same name in both packages yet are different! I've removed the AV8 package, and yes THAT one did crash as you mentioned but the GR package
is quite stable and performs much better in P3D. Sounds and animation, handling and VTOL much improved! Radar works...all weapons are releasable with effect...flares are only visable from VC when released...etc.

P.S. How did you get Flight1's AirTrafficX to work in P3D?

Safe skies!
Greg

Ah, thanks for that information !
From what you are saying, it seems the GR-7 is in fact more enjoyable than the AV-8 that I currently have. Then I'll proceed with the purchase as soon as I can.

Concerning the traffic, the one I'm using is "MyTraffic 6": http://secure.simmarket.com/mytraffic-6-fsxfsxsep3d-(fr_9239).phtml
The installation is a bit cmoplex in P3D, but it's ok and in the end, that addon works quite nicely.
It does take quite a few FPS away if you push the AI traffic settings too high, especially on my old computer. But the main problem for me is that it made my sim much slower to start (to reach the free flight creation page, I mean). This is due to the high amount of new items (AI airplanes models) in the hangar.

Indeed the GR-7 / 9 is much more enjoyable with P3D.

I was more interested in adding formations via this product...http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=airtrfcfx
and I thought you might have it working in P3D v3.3.? ?
Thanks for the info!
