I haven't seen a post in quite a while, sure hope all's well with him, know he's up there in the deep snow zone.

I exchanged emails with HD. He is fine, snowed in, and has a computer PS failure. Only has a laptop to communicate.

I just want to say that some folks here have been disrespectful to him in hate Emails and this is totally unacceptable. We are fortunate to have HD and his knowledge base available to us. I do hope he returns soon.

Oh man,that ain't right.He may have some strong opinions but he is a wealth of knowledge and he served his county honorably,some respect fellas.:salute:

OMG...why? just why?.....if you have a problem with someone...you leave...dont send hate mail to soomeone and cause trouble...
 
Yeah that isn't right, if you don't like what someone says you don't have to read it. I might not agree with everything he says but I found his insight and sense of humor quite refreshing. I hope he gets his system restored and makes it out of the snow. :salute:

On the other hand, HD came from another generation, where men were men. He and all like him have earned the right to say just about anything they want to. He comes from a generation where one called a spade a spade and didn't beat around the bush in saying it.

If these e-mails came from members here I'd say that should be seen as attacking a member and as such the authors should be dealt with accordingly. Totally unacceptable!

Amen Caz!.......I know he doesn't post much anymore at the 'NewHawks' forum,....but when I would see that he had,...I'd immediately click it open to see what's burning his butt. Gotta' love the guy,....he says what he means,....and means what he says. I wish more persons would shot straight from the hip like HD does. And let the chips fall where they may..........
 
HD can be a pain the staff's neck at times, but we'll miss him when he's gone.
 
I have a lot of respect for HD and if the nasty emails came from anyone here they should be gone.He is a wealth of information,and I for one miss his posts.
