...and taken all his Peculiar Planes with him?
I did a quick search for his Porter in the usual places, and couldn't find it.
Or any other original model, for that matter.

Hi,

I read somewhere in a SOH forum that Piglet had some problems with someone (dunno wich or with who) and that the SOH staff put him on rest ....
Not banned AFAIK .. but simply "on rest" .....
Maybe what you report is related with that .....
Anyways ... this is sad

Hopefully Tim will return, if not here, then somewhere else where his talents can continue to flourish. He is, as mentioned, on a "leave of absence" if you will, at the request of the SOH Staff. It is up to him whether or not he returns. . .I hope he does.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Tim make a rebound in the payware side of the spectrum

Charl , we cannot loose such a brilliant piglet plane maker , i,ll get some stakes out and start painting banners , he's not God but bloody close to getting there :engel016:

Recently I had some e-mail contact with Tim and he assured me that he will keep on making FS freeware. Knowing him it is unlikely he will start developing pay-ware.

I was told he made some 'on the edge' statements a while ago, but as I have not witnessed that I don't know the details and I can't (and won't) comment on that.

From Ickie I know Tim doesn't have any single restriction here at the Sim-Outhouse. So he is free to come here, to read and post and whatever he likes to more (like uploading nice freeware for instance). But the choice to come here is his.

The last project he was working on was a floating/flying runway. This was already quite a while ago and has not yet been released. Knowing the normal pace from Tim, this might be an indication he is either too busy with real life or he is just taking a break.

Cheers,
Huub

I just checked the SoH file archives, under "Piglet" and found 122 files in archive 1 and 7 files in archive 2, so he hasn't pulled any older files from SoH.

And there are 10 files in the new library.

Perhaps you just used the wrong search term?

Take "Piglet" out of the term at the major libraries and you come up with pages of his files.

Huub, that was released some time ago actually. I downloaded it and have it installed. Picked it up on Flightsim.com I think.:salute:

Hope he comes back, I'd like to see him return to the FS9 arena, but I know that's wishful thinking on my part. I believe he uploads alot of his work over at FlightSim, wouldn't be surprised to find him there... if anywhere.

Yep you're right Falcon, it was uploaded the 2nd of November already. I completely missed it and don't recall I have seen an announcement here. Well at least it shows Tim didn't stop making freeware.

Cheers.

Right you are Huub, I think I only noticed it because someone posted in the WIP thread that it had shown up on flightsim.com. There never was a formal announcement though, that I recall.

I have the MAB 03 installed as well. I do hope is planning on making that XP-79 sometime soon...lol.

I certainly hope that Tim comes back soon. Out of curiosity I tracked down his final exchange before his exit and while there was one odd crack that was a bit... "peculiar..." it's hopefully not something that will end his long, appreciated, and entertaining association with Sim-Outhouse.

After his "vacation" started I realized that a lot of my Sim-Outhouse checking was directly related to seeing what he's up to! Between Tim's absence and the unfortunate decision to move all the FSX payware into its own subforum, I'm finding I'm around a lot less nowadays.

(I assume nobody's noticed him posting elsewhere in the meantime?)
