.

Dear Friend,

I pray this message meets you in a good state of mind. I am Rev.McCall Thomas,
a native of USA. I am the CEO McCall-Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. I have
been a contractor for the past 10 years which i have been so lucky to win and
execute many contracts both locally and internationally.

I got involved in a contract in Australia sometimes ago and after successfully
executing this contract, my payment was refused, i was not paid. I was down and
almost lost hope.

Two years after this contract, I prayed to God for the release of my contract
payment. I also made a vow to GOD to give and benefit someone with the sum of
Two hundred and Fifty Thousand United States (USD $250,000.00) if my payment
could be approved. To my surprise, i was called upon by the Australian Government
last month that my contract file has been looked into and it has finally been
approved for payment. I never believed it until I was advised by my Pastor and
later moved down to Australia and to my, surprise I was paid this money.

As a strong believer of GOD and who strongly believes in pledges and vows,i
never forgot my pledge to give out the sum of USD $250,000.00 to somebody. With
the help of some Computer Engineering associates, i did email ballot to get the
beneficiary of this money and luckily for you, your email address was chosen which
automatically makes you the winner and beneficiary of my pledge which is Two
hundred and Fifty Thousand United States (USD $250,000.00).

I want to use this medium to congratulate you and i will like you to contact my
secetary, Mr. Bob Lambert on how to receive your money ($250,000.00) as im still presently in
Australia. I have given him instructions on how to get your fund to you so please
contact him immediately with your details:

NAME, ADDRESS AND CONTACT NUMBER, If possible any copy of your ID for verification.

BELOW IS THE CONTACT OF MY SECRETARY

Mr. Bob Lambert
Office Phone : 864-832-2358
E-mail address: boblambert001@aol.com

You can give him a call to confirm this. Friend, i want you to believe that this
is the opportunity GOD is giving you and a BIG miracle to your LIFE so please dont
miss this. For your information, im presently executing another contract here in
Australia, please i need your prayer for the success of this one and also looking
forward to meet you when i get back to the States. Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU!!!

With Best Regards,
Rev.McCall Thomas.

Congratulations Dave! What are you gonna do with all that money?

Gotta say I haven't seen this one yet.

The reverends pastors cousins brother told him he was to be paid this money or was it the Australian government. Not quit clear on that point.
So now you can share in this wealth all they need is your bank account info or perhaps your credit card numbers.

Gotta love scams, I knew of a guy that dumped his whole retirement into one of these scams.. Ended up losing his house and his wife divorced him.. I didn't know him personally, but a friend of mine ended up buying the guys house for a fraction of what it was worth because of all the money he threw away. I was told that people told him it was a scam, but he flat out refused to believe it and actually believed he was going to be a millionaire.

I've been tempted to respond and play along with these bozos when I've received an email message similar to this. But it's best just to drop it all together and not respond.

WC Fields (or was it P.T. Barnum?) said there was one born every minute. He was right.

No one who isn't looking for a fast buck has ever been suckered by these things. The old saying is still quite true - "You can't cheat an honest man!"

There have been many cases where enterprising people reversed cards on these scammers and scammed them. They would play dumb and send just enough information but then need additional "help" before the other information could be revealed until at the end, the would-be scammed knew more about the scammer and then called law enforcement.

It's a byproduct of the internet being cheap. Just pay a fee to an ISP and then it's just a few minutes to craft such a thing and send it out to the world.

This is the actual phone number of McCall-Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. Call 'em up and expose the scam to them... or collect your money!

I would suggest that when everyone gets their $250,000, call Mr. Ballmer at Microsoft and tell him your willing to pay that much for FS11.
If he gets enough non refundable deposits, he might get the ball rolling.

Actually, the odds of us seeing the money or FS11 are about the same.

I got something similar a few years ago from someone purporting to be an "African Princess" from the former Ivory Coast. "She" wanted me to help her come to the US and in return, I would receive part of the fortune the brought with her. I told her that my portion would make a fine dowry, and that my other three wives would benefit from getting to know her, since they didn't get out much. Then I told her that I was picky about whom I marry, and that I needed a "full frontal" photo for approval before proceeding.

I'm thinking that got me on some "do not email this nut" list, since I've never gotten another one!

Incoming...!!! :stop:

I had great fun a few years ago with the girl from West Africa who only wanted to buy the nuns some Christmas presents, but her boyfriend had left her stranded, but I would be her love forever if I would just help with $1,500.

I'm a researcher when I'm not painting airplanes, so I did some online snooping and got the name, address and picture of the poor stranded girl. It was a dude about 6'5", 250 lbs. who had done a five year stretch for running similar scams under another name. When I sent the guy his own photo, he kept on with the pitch.
LMAO.

Look for the spelling and typos in these scams. The ones out of West Africa usually have really bad syntax. Some others are more difficult to spot. Run an SEC background check on the company name and find out where they are incorporated. It may be just an office front with a mailbox and phone.

Lots of other tricks to use on these guys too.

Unbelievable.

Daveroo, I got ya beat! I won the Irish lottery!!!!! Oh, and there is a Nigerian prince who is going to send me millions of dollars. :jump:

All of these have a central theme, send your personal information to someone you have never heard of before. Some also require that you send money, I guess they are the lazy ones and don't want to go to the trouble of opening credit accounts using other people's identities. And there are plenty of people who fall for these scams.

I dated a woman in Atlanta a few years ago who fell for one of these scams. She is a good-hearted soul, and slightly naive. She lost over 25K. NC

Seems pretty legit. You should send him your details.

:icon_lol:

I detest these scammers with every ounce of my being. The only creatures worse than these pigs are the 'cardholder services' criminals who bombard people at all hours of the day with unsolicited calls.

They all seem to be exempt from the never call list.
