have had the game up and runing for 4 hours of campaign and have the sliders set on 33333,this as been a graphical delight and i am getting fps of about 30/40 all the time,so i tried to up the anti, but when i get to the drop down menu in game it won't let me alter the graphics?
I can alter- sound- controls-etc but not dispaly!
Any idea's.....

Ah, yes... the sliders are in the CFS3 config.exe. In the workshops there is a button labeled CFS3 Config. Use that. When the window opens hit File - Custom Settings - OK, and you should see the sliders. You can use the Window menu here to see all the other settings options as well.

That button worked for me, only after a clean Phase 3 install.

Installing BHaH over Phase 2, meant the old-fashioned way :kilroy:

Ain't computers grand? It will never cease to amaze me how different people can have such different experiences with the same software. I installed over P2 and it works fine... It's like how my brother and I, sired and raised by the same parents, in the same house, attending the same schools, only three years apart can be so extremely different in so many fundamental ways.

When you say anti......are you talking about the anti-aliasing. If not then I'm talking through my hat....happens a lot....but if so I might be able to help. It's actually in the FAQ that the anti-aliasing selection in the config menu...."change display" menu doesn't read in the window.....your choice is registered by the game and is in there despite the fact that the window will always read 0 when you go back to check....it's a CFS3 "bug"....if I dare use the word. I've had my best FPS results by unchecking the "use application settings" as per FAQ instructions...and matching the anti-aliasing settings on my graphics card control panel to those that I've selected via the "config" tool. A kind soul named "Redwolf" pointed out to me that if you've a high-end monitor that can deliver high resolution pictures in the first place on the 1680X1050X32 scale then you don't need such heavy anti-aliasing to make the picture look great........ergo, better FPS. It made sense to me and seems to have worked with my rig which is probably "better" on a average, better, best scale. Hope this helps. Cheers....GAW
