Heads up on Microsoft's new OP 7

Just wanted to let everyone here at SOH know that there is an issue with the new MS OP 7

You cannot host or join Multi player games with this new MS OP 7

Hopefully someone will be able to crack this one as they did with VISTA

Untill then , All that join or host multiplayer games (BEWARE)

There is certainly a problem with the pre-release versions. Applying the Vista fix doesn't help, I've tried this with both 32-bit and 64-bit without success.

What the final code is like I don't know, my copy is still with the carrier.

With the exception of the multiplayer issue (similar to the one with Vista) does OP 7 run CFS3 well?

Yes it does! One oddity I've noticed is if I shut down CFS3 with Alt-F4, it leaves the cfs3.exe running in memory - starting up CFS3 again gives an error message that CFS3.exe is still running. :isadizzy:

This is the only issue I've found - shutting the program down from the menu avoids it. 'Vanilla', MAW and ETO all run very happily. If I find anything different with the release version, I'll let you know.

So far from what i have heard, Runs well in QC , and is a big improvement from previous O'S , WINDOWS XP, VISTA,
But time will tell, Keep in mind this is a brand new OS
