Hello all,

Great to see the site up and running again!

Has anyone heard about the status of the Heinkel 177 as of late? How long before its ready to go if I might ask?

Love the Catalina Guys great work to all involved, finally I have a seaplane to be proud of!

That's one we've all wanted for ages! Which is surprising, since the real aircraft was like trying to fly a crematorium...

I remember for CFS2 it was one of the first addons to come out. I think it was Greg who did it - it is the sort of thing he would do, in any case. I was thrilled to bits!

It's on Ted's to do list. But I think either the B-24 or the Sunderland is top of his list. I too would like to see the KG40 version of this big Sea Eagle or Griffon should I say.

He 177

She is on hold at the moment. I have several other projects as mentioned above plus a few not on the public list. I do not mean to sound like a broken record, but other folks need to learn to make planes. You never will unless you try......

Tryin' my best, Ted. VCs are a fiddle to say the least...
Can I just say how much I'm enjoying the Cat: lovely bird! :medals:

Keep it up, looks good, and more to the point, like Ted mentioned, CFS3 needs modellers!:applause:

Personally, I'm willing to wait. Good things come to those that wait as they say. The levels of artistry on all aircraft I have downloaded for the sim is nothing less than spectacular. The reason most people aren't modelling is that things are just things nowadays, Like me I have to work extra jobs just to make ends meet, the sim is just a way of releasing stress for me personally . Not to toot my own horn, I fully realize that a lot of time goes into these projects and you fine gentlemen also have work and lives to contest with too. I humbly thank you all for these remarkable aircraft, that's why I'm really carefull not to crash them or even damage them, maybe its just the respect factor working here with me.

Ted, Bravo/4, Hairyspin and so many others, thank you. Its just the idea of you guys making such wonderful aircraft for the sim makes everyone excited is all. Personally, I will wait patiently.

Best Regards

I have tried, believe me, I have tried... To be honest, with one or two rare exceptions, the world of CFS "makers" seems to be divided into those who can model but can't paint, and those who can paint but can't model. I like to think I can paint, more or less...

Modeling

hairyspin ... looks great. Just wish we had more folks messing around with polys and paint.

I use SolidWorks to do 3D engineering at work and PhotoShop paint other peoples Gmax models at home for fun. Go figure. :salute:

Tryin' my best, Ted. VCs are a fiddle to say the least...

your getting there :salute:

cant wait to see it fleshed out a bit more

The past few months i have been trying very hard to get a handle on all this g max stuff..
I has proved a challange to say the least..
i have not gotten to the point of saying I know what I am doing..
But I shall continue until I either work it all out or I throw my computer out the Window..
Whichever one comes first..
I do hope at some point to be a benifit for all here. Perhaps I may even get to the point of understanding all of this..

May be I should give this modeling capper a go. Can't be that hard. Done some old poly pushing in the past.
Did this for fun a long time ago

Rodnoc....well backwards that spells .....C..O..N..D..O..R....is that you Greg? :icon_lol:

Apologies if not! Either way a fine looking model. :)

Tom - what's that model? looks a little like a late mk Spit, or is that just wishful thinking?
