Help, I just had a massive FPS loss!

I was fiddling a bit with my enb settings and a day after I have this 50% drop in FPS. I restored all the enb files but this problem persists. I have not changed anything else in the FS9 setup. The only thing I did yesterday evening was run an extensive disk defrag.

Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this and how to get rid of it? My FS9 has been running stable for years now - only requiring tweaking after driver updates and such!

FPS performance is linked to CPU performance
Check you CPU activities
So first at all .....
Be sure that any program consuming CPU asset is not running in background when running FS2004
 
Thanks, i checked and everything was running as it should.

I installed the newest Nvidia driver and that seems to have fixed the problem, everything is running smooth again. I wanted release my texture set tomorrow so this was a hassle as I couldn't make my release movie. Now I haven't managed to package my stuff but hope to do this tomorrow.
