Help locating some files

I'm in the process of installing the Fleet Air Arm Full Campaign and am having trouble with a couple of add-ons. First, I downloaded and installed the FDG Donationanware P-36 Hawk and the Vichy skin. The skin included an updated DP file that calls for Oldwheat’s guntubes for the modified. The download link in the readme folder in the skin file is dead. I searched for the files and found two downloads for Oldwheat guntubes: Schrage_Muzic_guns.zip and guntubes.zip. Neither of these seem to include the file that the dp is calling for: "1tube"??

The second problem is the download for Brunosk's Spitfires, BSK_Spits2.zip, won't unzip. I've downloaded twice and tried 2 methods to unzip - Winrar and windows zip program and get a corrupt file message.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Scott

5string,

Let's see here...

(1tube is in there, hidden in the.zip folder)

You need the .dp and .bgl files, not the .sca file.

I double-checked the Spitfire download, either it isn't downloading completely, or, more likely, your anti-virus / spam / etc. is running some interference.

Just a warning about that Swordfish...she runs slower than dirt. You can take naps on your carrier traps.

Thanks Rami. I'll try the download and/or unzip again w/virus scan off.

I know what you mean about the Swordfish. I enjoyed this campaign when it was originally released (whenever that was!) and before I took a hiatus from CFS2. First ETO campaign I tried. I love the plane, though. I like to fly it is FS9. Just a real cool visual model.

I'm thrilled that you re-worked and expanded it. The downloads and install is kind of daunting! Been slowly adding things to my ETO install and looking forward to getting it operational.

Thanks again for your timely help.

***Got the Brunosk spit to unzip - it was the virus scan that was interfering with the full download. Thansk!

5string,

That particular campaign went through about six or seven different incarnations over the years. The big breakthrough was tobob's Bermuda, Taranto, and Dakar, which added a real extra dimension to those campaigns. Fleet Air Arm also is the apex of the amount of stuff you need to download, and was done as a labor of love. I almost scrapped it because I thought it would be too much.

That's why with the 20th Fighter Group, I am providing a "common pack" of objects and scenery that can just be unzipped right into your CFS2 folder. It will cut down greatly on the progress.
