i downloaded g.j.smiths execelent looking p51d but it has no sound.couldnt register at his web site so does anyone know how i can any sound?

The sound could be aliased to another aircraft that is not in your CFS2 folder. You can check this by opening the sound.cfg (in the aircraft's sound folder) with a text editor (i.e. Windows Notepad):
Sample (inside the sound.cfg file):
[fltsim]
alias=A6M2_Zero\sound
You can alias it to an aircraft you have, or perhaps download Lawdogs P-51 sound files:
