Help with BF109E

Has anyone any tips on flying the 109E. I find it very unforgiving and every manouver seems to put the aircraft on the verge of a stall!
I have flown with auto trim on and off. Full and near empty fuel tanks.

Thanks :salute:

which one u fly? there are huge differences between the various versions u can find in CFS3: but I guess the one u are referring to are the ETO versions with avhistory flight models built in.
if so, u can be sure they are really good! only tipp is to fly this ship carefully and keep on flying. like the real ones they need a lot of training but one principle is clear: never try to bank, let alon hard banking, if u are not doing 400 kph at least! in the web u can find pretty good stuff: ( I mean manuals) that´s the nicest part of flying warbirds!

There is a tip for aircraft that you find difficult to fly because of stall:

- open Aircraft.cfg

- look for [flight_tuning] section

- modify pitch_stability to a value = 1.XX

You have to find the XX the most appropriate for you. I've tested numerous values for fun (from very high to negative...). I modified some of the aircrafts that I really can't fly because of stalls, there are a few of them for me but not the Emil.

This is always a compromise between flight model accuracy and pleasure at flight, it depends of everybody because everybody has a different approach of flight sim.

Note that if you modify it, you will not be able to fly on line.

Thanks for the tips.

I like to be as realistic as possible.

I think the problem is my ham fisted flying!!

I was trained as a navigator not the bus driver!!

I will persevere until I master it!!!
