Help with Frame Rate Limiter 2.0

Hi,
I have been trying to install Frame Rate Limiter 2.0, but without success. I understand that you need to run the file “FPS_Limiter_GUI” but I don’t know what program to use or how to run it. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Ian,

There is a way of using the FPS Limiter without running the GUI file.

Open Notepad and copy the following text, replacing the file paths to the FPS_Limiter.exe and fsx.exe files for your system. Keep the speech marks in the same place.

start C:\"Users\Matt\Documents\FPS_Limiter_0.2\"FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9 /f:30 /x:ON /l:OFF "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe

The f:30 part is the frame limit. Save the file with the BAT extension and move it into your FPS Limiter folder.

Double clicking the BAT file should now open FSX. I created a shortcut to the file on my desktop.
