quick,,,,im in mp,,,and otta gas....how do i get more???

ok,,,guess next time I will check off unlimited fuel,,,but,,,how do you get fuel...(save me the time of looking..........)

Never Run into that myself, sounds like you're screwed, unless you can reach WORKSHOP an select unlimited fuel

otta gas...

well...ran out while playing...did manage to put it down in a field, probably would have been better to have just crashed,,,maybe when you restart in mp, you get filled up.....

but i did check as many posts as i could,,,,,is landing at a friendly field the way you do it? and if so,,,is it sorta automatic,,,or.....do you have to pull up to the pump...(just kidding)

That landing at any friendly airfield makes sense, However we'll save that bit for Hollywood. No mechanic in 1917 is gonna add fuel to a Red Hot Aircraft. Plus if can find somebody crazy enough, you need to be the second. Because there isn't any fuel truck ( wrong war )

If you're lucky, they've got six 55gallon drums in back of a lorry

It's that or a single drum in a hand truck, and you hope it was a freshly opened fuel drum. Because the small amount of moisture that the fuel might accumulate overnight, could be the cause of running rough, or if you have a rotory, it might not start

One guy turning the Big Crank, which is the pump. The next guy making sure the nozzle stays put, and to hollar It's Full

Clean the Windscreen and check the oil

Next comes the Armorer and His partner, and your life is in his hands

Safest woman on the base, is the armorer's daughter :costumes::costumes:

Hello,
filling up or reloading guns at friendly aerodromes or wherever is not modelled in OFF Phase 2.
Maybe you can edit a file to replenish, but i would think it does not work during gameplay, because your AC file or whichever gives the amount of fuel or ammo is then in use ..
Greetings,
Catfish

Sounds like maybe you took a hit? Every so often, I look over at the fuel gauge. If I see it dropping on the fast side, I usually make a break for the nearest friendly airstrip. Ohterwise, I seem to have enough for about 90 minutes of full throttle flying.

check w/ PD who writes all those splendid missions....I think they refuel and rearm during their Boys of 60 MP sessions

Hi gaw

You are correct, but only so far.

In our modded Boys of 60 Squadron OFF P2 online co-op missions, created by Pilotsden, we did have a "land and refuel and re-arm option" which added to the immersion and gave us greater length and depth to the missions.

This, however, was achieved by the simple expedient of adding further "free " aircraft into which we "jumped" after landing and "refuelling".In this way we were able to "rearm" and "refuel" and continue in the mission.

Never crossed my mind about that...usually I end up flying around for 30mins or so before someone joins, but these guys are so good they accounted for a hit on the gas tank,,,,,pretty good....

Unlimited Fuel . . . . Definately:isadizzy:

Hey, SITTINGDUCK
I'm not sure I understand your slang with my German school English - otta gas ...???... If your tank leaks out and you can't make it home, you must just get the lady down somewhere safe; roll out and finish magneto. Then you exit the mission the usual way. No problem.
Next flight, you'll find your plane at your airfield, cause the mechanics have "chartered" a horse waggon from the French, loaded up a barrel of gas, and went to refill your plane, and one of them flew it back. (Maybe, I dreamt this bit, bit Part One is true, and the plane will be back; I did that several times).
Cheers; Olham

out of gas

well,,,sorry about the slang, but was in a rush, as the game was in progress.

And as far as just exiting the game, have found out from the past that sometimes if I kill the game, or if the game just closes by itself (happens to me alot..) when I go to rehost, i get a "cannot connect to internet message", so that was really an option that I didnt want to use.
