I haven't had much board time the past week. Kids started school and my mother's been in the hospital. She call me early Sunday morning with rectal bleeding and I called 911 and had them meet me at her apartment. I knew that would be the only way she would be admitted promptly and we would not have to sit in the Welfare Social Club @ the ER sitting room for four to five hours! This was good too, because she passed a great amount of blood again after the just got her in the ER bed. She took two transfusions and the did an endoscopy Sunday evening and a colonoscopy Monday morning. They found a diverticular area in her lower intestine that had stopped bleed and the cauterized it and applied meds. She was fine Tuesday morning and I took her home yesterday afternoon.
In addition, my brother bought him a (new to him) second hand PC tower. I had to go through it with a fine tooth comb with all my warez (anti-spyware, malware, viruses, etc). It took me three hours Monday to do this alone. Tuesday I went back and updated all of his drivers and programs and installed FS9 and the 9.1 update (this tower would be weak with FSX). He has all of the payware add-ons saved to an external or on a CD. I got Smart Defrag and did a defrag and optimize and left, told him it was in his lap until I serviced it again. Why is it people can spend hours on end on a computer, yet cannot devote 20 to 30 minutes a day to update it and keep it clean?
And I have been busy as a bee in any off time working up my Paint Kit for the upcoming CR1 Software Aeronca Champ series (are ya listin' to me up there Pointy31
) that will be FSX/Acceleration and DX10 native.
