    Help Wanted

Hi there

Bjoern

worst developer ever
(Thready title kept ambiguous to keep up mysterious aura of mystery.)

Yes, I'm still alive.

Anyone want to guess what, how, and when?

I know. But since the communities do not completely overlap, I've also posted about it here.

Did i understand right, a proper 737 with VC for good ol' fs9 after so many years? I will build a shrine for you in my closet.

Something like that, yeah.

(FS9 first, then FSX.)

Looking good already - I'll be waiting with a fistful of dollars ...:applause:.:applause:.:applause:...

Won't be payware.

Since I did get some responses after all, here's a bit more info:

- The source files are Erick Cantu's. The VC is 90% new though.
- The fuselage had to be remapped, so compatibility to existing repaints for the KH/EC/VL 732 is not present anymore.
- The panel is going to(!) be the TinMouse's.

I'm currently painting the VC textures. They won't be spectacular, but better than nothing.

Bjoern, may i please ask will there be a combi with hush kits?? Like seeing this beast get your treatment.

Hush kits:

No for the external Nordams as they're ugly, drag inducing and I'm lazy.
The AvAero kit, however, is an internal mod and hence, the much preferred option (for me).

Combi/QC/F:

I'll add a painted-on freight door to the fuselage texture. Again, no 3D stuff due to laziness.

Gravel kit (someone WILL ask for it eventually):

If I'm in the mood. Fortunately got some space left on the main texture sheet for the deflector plate and fuselage attached storage thing.

Still painting VC textures. Urgh.
(The "pain" in "painting" is there for a reason.)

General note:
I don't want to make too many commitments to a specific configuration as 732s come in billions of varieties.
So if one can live with a (later retrofitted) ADV slat configuration, it's possible to paint the auxiliary intakes typical for early JT8Ds on the engine nacelles and get a non-ADV 732.

Looking forwards to this one Bjoern! the seven-three-two always used to be a favourite when i was growing up...

keep up the great work :salute:

VC textures are done.

Sim integration will take a while. Materials, animations, XML stuff, panel...:blind:

I got a spot right next to your First Air paint you did for the 727. 737-200C is a perfect hanger mate and will get severely used as a slave in the Arctic virtual skies. Now I must go and abuse the Do-328 you made(cracks the whip at the Do).

The model is merged and in the sim now, but still requires a lot of work.
Unless someone can live without instruments or some special animations... :blind:

There's an option for the C/QC and F versions in the paintkit now. The latter is fairly rare though (Northern Air Cargo only).

Hm, might be time for an earnest paint. A cool one.

The office.

Cool features:
The rudder pedals double as brake pedals (just like the real thing).
Trim button on the yoke.

The exterior model in all its 1024² px "one-piece fuselage texture" glory. And Combi/QC configuration.
