High end textures

So I picked up some liveries that were on sale at the marketplace and they are advertised as 8K and 4K textures. Every time I go to use them my system just bogs down and stutters set in. I have a new cpu (7800 x3d) and a rtx 4080. I mean if I can't run them, who the heck is? Am I missing something here?

I don't run those ultra texture packs - My rig can run the sim at 4k without them and that sort of lifts all boats if you will.

Thank you, they were cheap enough so I thought I would give them a try. I'll uninstall them and consider it a lesson learned.

To whom it may concern: on flightsim.to you'll find a (metric) Ton of 8K texturen to test the performance on your system - mostly tubeliners though. Your milage may vary...
