Just some clarification/questions.

English.

Only available for Hurricanes and Spitfires? No other singles or twin engine fighters?

German.

Only 109g6 and 110 E1? Are the other 109s and 110s different? FW 190 and Ju88 Night Fighter?

The package I published a couple of years ago, was just a starting point with a few predefined examples for people to show how it could be done. It takes about a half an hour for each unique cockpit model to get the placement correct. As I do a new one I try to post it here for others to take advantage of. If you want some help with the process of adding them to additional models just let me know. All I ask is that you share your results with the rest of the community here.

p.s. I'm very pleased that some of the development teams have picked up on this and included the capability for dynamic reticles in their recent aircraft releases as well.

Okay, having followed this proces from a distance I don't really know how it works. But I like the result, so how can I implement your dynamic reticle in the model that I am building?

It can be as simple as adding a line to the effects section of the aircraft xdp file. If the user has AnKor's shaders installed and have the appropriate lines added to their effects.xml then it will work automatically. If they don't have that then the aircraft just displays the static reticle that you would normally model it with.

The thing for the developer is to model the proper gunsight, and select the appropriate reticle to use with it. Then it's a matter of setting the x,y,z location for the matching reticle effect so it displays on the glass of the gunsight.

Uh, okay - the x,y,z coordinates are for the center of the reflector glass? And by choosing the correct reticle it stays within the boundaries of the glass?

I'm looking at Clive's BoB and note no ETO Hurricanes or Spitfirse there. Does Clive or anyone know if there is an overlap there so I could install the dynamic reticles safely? likewise for the 109s and 110s.
