• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Higher number of wingmen in QC?

My apologies if I've asked this before, but is there a setting in an XML file somewhere that would allow an increase in the number of wingmen allowed in QC?
 
I have not investigated yet but do a QC missions with max wingmen and then go to the AppData Folde and look in the missions folder and the uisel file to see what is shown there. Maybe see what happens if aircraft are added?
 
Remember that the uisel file is written anew each time the game starts. So unless there is a way to have the uisel not be rewritten each time then editing the one in the app->roaming->microsoft->game name may not be an answer.

Have a second backup uisel in the main CFS3 folder. It does not get re-written.
 
But normally, when one opens the QC tab, the same aircraft, location, are as when the app was last used. I do keep a backup on my desktop for when CDT happens, as I hate to redo difficulty etc., settings. I am not sure how the uisel effects actual QC flights, which why I suggested also looking at he mission folder. I don't know what other files are relevant; I miss Daiwilletti who knew all about these things. :cry:
