This model depicts the Royal Navy invincible class aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal in a typical configuration during her 2010 deployment.

Ark Royal differs from Invincible and Illustrious in that her ski jump was designed with a 12 degree ramp from the outset, along with the use of Phalanx instead of Goalkeeper CIWS.
