Wow...Thats going to have some nice detail it looks like......:applause:

I hope to make a FS movie about Operation Pedistal some day, and HMS Victorious was one of the ships involved in this decisive sea battle. So I'll keep my eyes on this project.

:woot:

Looking good.

Bone, it's something we're looking in to. At the moment it floats about 6' above the surface in pilotable mode so it needs some work!

That would be great, Skippy. My squadron of Wyverns needs a home to FSrecord from. The recorder doesn't sync up with AI ships.

Know what you mean, the only way I found to get close was to save a paused flight with the aircraft on deck and then reload it before recording each aircraft and playing back. If you look at the vid on the site that's how I recorded the Hellcat landing on, I think there's a slight discrepancy in position when I touched down but it's not too bad.

I see this was in FS9 at this stage (2007?) will it still be available in that format? I hope so :jump:

Kind regards

John

Errr.. no I've only ever had her in FSX, mainly as I don't have FS9! However the plan is to export it to FS9 as well as static objects don't have all the animation issues etc. you get converting to between sims. Mind you I'm not sure if there won't be other issues in terms of the number of polygons etc....

Oh and she should be released imminently, basically waiting on the final textures at this stage, all the modelling having been completed.

Not FS9? Ha ha! my mistake.

It was the lack of reflections in the sea that through me. Thanks for the update

Kind regards

John

Give me a holler if you get stuck on the pilotable one, shouldn't be too hard to set her up for the correct attitude.

Actually AI and pilotable use the same cfg ?, so its odd the're different between models, anyway, doors open if you think you need it.

Looking good none the less.

Kindest

Michael

I'd be interested in the FS9 version as carrier to land and take off from. Can't have too many carriers in FS.

I'll second, third and fourth that opinion ! I too would love to have this in FS9 as well as FSX Acceleration,
