The movie, "Brainstorm", was released in 1983. It was, in my opinion, a very cool movie. The inventors in the story had created a device worn on the head that would record the experiences of the wearer. Subsequently, anyone who wore the device and played the tape back, would experience exactly what had been recorded: taste, smell, fear, everything! Sadly, it was to be actress Natalie Wood's last performance, as she died in a drowning accident.
