• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

How are you guys affording this and what's the motivation? It sounds fun.:ernae:
 
Cost comes out of our pocket and the only motivation is to get more people into flight simming. You'll find we always come up with fixes or goodies and share them right away. We are not for profit so we don't care about website hits or members.

We have gotten a lot of help from fellow flight simmers along the way. I am one that has benefited greatly from the great developers on here sharing what they learned. So its our way of giving back. If this goes well I'm sure we will go bigger and better on the next comp.

It is a shame this is for a default aircraft only. I don't even think there is a proper paint kit for it... white textures don't do it for me.

Through my experiences trying to paint the default 172, I think I'll pass... :icon_lol:

Honestly I can't believe how bad default planes are to paint compared to payware addons (EXCEPT Carenado... they are right up there with defaults).

1) Not to be asked how it can be afforded, as if its any of our business ..

2) Nor are they intrested in any opinions about how well it paints, or weather or not you will do this including your reasons why not to !


Seriously..If you aren't intrested...Move on past the reply button....
