These are some excerpts from lectures by Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist, TV Personality and all-around cool-dude. He is such an interesting guy to hear speak, extremely intelligent and entertaining.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be sucked into a blackhole?

The book is very good too. Tyson seems to have taken on Sagans mantle i.e. a scientist who can relate and inspire. Very impressed with him, I once on spec e-mailed him a (for him) mundane enquiry, and he graciously replied with an in depth response. Very cool guy imho.
Another good "personable" astronomer to seek out especially on You Tube is Phil Plait or find his website Bad Astronomy.

...Probably wind up in Munchkinland. And speaking of Muchkins,...Meinhardt Raabe who played the coroner in Munchkinland recently died at age 92. In a retirement home in Florida. Only a few Munchkins are left.
