How Can I Do This?

I have the Abacus paint program, can someone tell me how I can paint my planes to show up as highly polished aluminun? I so far have figured that it has to do with useing the Alphachannel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The darker the alpha, the higher the chrome-like polish. You need a program that can separate the alpha for editing. What I use is DXTBmp from Martin Wright. You can get it from his site:
