• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

How do I find what version of PMDG 747....

Just bought it at Best buys and I see there is an update service pack for it over at there website. Just want to make sure I am not downloading something that the boxed version already has and I screw things up. I have right clicked the PMDG icon and gone into properties and I does not show what version it is.

WOW, what a trip....printed off some manuals and then with some youtube videos to help out got my 747 up and running from a cold start. Took off out of Pain field and landed at Seatac. Its a start. Button city in this cockpit and much much much to learn. I am just happy I was able to start and fly her. At first I thought "O MY LORD" , I might have to put this one back in the box but with all the help out there on-line should be able to tackle each system one at a time.

A little bit excited!

Looks like the boxed version already has the update. Tried to download service pack and it said it was already installed.
