It may be some sort of coruption of the unlimitedpilots.xml or country.xml files in your application data folder. you can delete those and the game will build new ones on start up.

I will try deleting those. When I fly a RS mission, they have appropriate labels, but in quick combat it's French to me! Thanks Captain!
 
Recently in QC mode I've had problems with the wrong nationality showing up at first - eg in MAW, trying to get a US pilot and being confronted with a list of Greek pilots. I've found if I switch nations a few times, and go back to US, the right list of pilots shows up. My first target for blame is Windows 10, which seems to do funny things to dlls. But who knows? :pop4:

The only country.xml I see is in the main CFS3 folder and not appdata folder. Is it safe to delete this?

I wouldn't think so. Never heard of country.xml being deleted. Of course, if you back it up you could give it a shot, but the question would be what is being achieved?

My RS is relatively stable at the moment, so long as I fly only at Pearl Harbor. Call me a coward, but I ain't going anywhere near something in the main folder thats not related to effects.:mixed-smiley-010:
 
Running Win7 64bit and have no problems with any theaters or pilots in PTO-RS. Can't get Japanese pilots to show up correctly after a QC mission in the UI animation . They revert back to a US looking pilot. Strange problem with PTO-Solomons only.
