"How to " addon install recommendation

Hello,
Is this kind of information available?

Why this question? Up to now each time I install a new addon mission my ETO gives problems and I have to reload my backup.

I must make errors when installing new missions but I do not know what is my error ...

What kind of error messages are you getting when you try to install new missions ?
 
Hello,
When I start these missions, I have the "normal windows from ETO, the monitor becomes black , and I wait Isee in Task Monitor that CFS3 "eats" my entire memory (2Gb) and finally it crashes :gameoff:with a CFS3 microsoft popup

BE SURE WHEN INSTALLING A MISSION TO ETO THAT YOU ARE INSTALLING IT TO THE RIGHT ERA,OUR IM SURE A CTD WILL HAPPEN.

START YOUR ETO UP IN ERA 5 THEN SHUT IT DOWN AND GO TO
START,MY COM,LOCAL DRIVE C,PROGRAM FILES ,MICROSOFT GAMES,CFS3 ETO Expansion, NOW OPEN THE MISSIONS FOLDER IN YOUR MAIN GAME FOLDER AND COPY YOUR NEW MISSION XML FILE TO THE RIGHT FOLDER,WHAT IF,TRAINING,HISTORICAL, AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO:ernae: PS TAILWIND CHEATS

BTW Is a "tool" available to control that all that is needed for a mission (xml) is available ?? or missing

NOT SURE WHAT YOUR SAYING ,BUT IF YOU MEAN MISSIONS WITH ADD ON AIRCRAFT,FAC,EXT NO THERE IS NOT.
MAKE SURE YOU NO WHAT YOUR DOWNLOADING AND WHAT ADD ONS YOU NEED TO INSTALL A NEW MISSION,
THE MISSION BUILDERS HERE SEEM TO GIVE YOU A REAL GOOD DIRECTION TO INSTALL ,PS READ THE FINE PRINT:ernae:pSS TAILWIND CHEATS ME:engel016:
 
Perhaps you ETO setup is trying to Spawn some add-on or spawn that isn't supose to be spawned..
Or it is looking for something not there..A pylon or weapon files etc..Make sure you have all the needed add-on files loaded correctly..
I have learned not every ETO set is equal..
I have added alot of stuff to my set up..And now I MUST run a virgin set up to make my missions in so others can use them..
These set ups are very "touchy" about what they will run..

I will follow this process :
When ETO is working OK, I take a backup.
I install 1 new addons and 1 missions . If it runs OK I take again a backup and so on... , If it does not run OK I restore the latest backup.....disk space is cheap:running:
