How to change spring textures for certain area in CFS 3

Some agricultural areas in The Netherlands look very colourful in spring. My question is: How can the spring textures for those areas be modified to have these colourful looks?

Hi
Foute Man,

I think WM has developed a solution for OFF. If you take a look at the file structures in OFF, this may give you some idea. I'm pretty sure he has different textures called for different geographical areas.

HTH,

Hi Guys,

Hi Ton,

unfortunately the CFS3 world uses the same tiles across the map, so what ever the fields look like in say the Netherlands thats how they would look in France Britain etc.

In OFF there are 12 sets of scenery files, and the OFF manager (external to CFS3) looks at what period you are flying etc and then selects the appropiate set of files and places them in the CFS3/OFF directory.

This process is just the same as the batch files used to change the period/Era's in the ETO.

so you could do it by having a batch file that installs your Netherlands scenery when the period picked is your Netherlands Era.

then if another Era is picked the batch file would replace your Netherlands scenery with the correct scenery for what ever Era was chosen.

hope this helps,

regards Rob.
