How to contact Corrado La Posta

capun

SOH-CM-2024
I am trying to contact Corrado La Posta to ask his permission to use his Italian Gauge face textures used in his Fiat G.50 but I can't find an email.

Does anyone knows how to contact him?

Thanks

Hi Cesar,

Corrado dropped out of the circuit some years ago, and I haven't managed to get hold of him since. I think he was ill... He is great friends, if I remember rightly, with Alessandro Biaggi of Italian Wings and Classics Hangar, so you might try him.

There's a contact e-mail on the homepage.

Let me know how you get on, and if it doesn't work, I'll try and find plan B!

Nigel

Thanks Nigel

Yes I did send an email to that address, I did an English to Italian translation (hopefully correct) in case of a language issue.

Too bad I can't write in Italian (only Spanish and English) to have a better communication.

From the G.50 readme file I don't know if it was Corrado or another of his team mates who did the gauge textures.

capun, Alx's email provider has some problems at times, if you don't hear back from him in a day or two, go here, register for the forums, and leave him a message in the General Discussion area. He works with Mathias, painting his models for FSX.

Or, drop Mathias a quick email, he'll let Alx know you are looking for him, which is usally the quickest way to get a hold of him. Works for me,lol

That would have been plan B!

Not too sure but the gauges look suspiciously like Nanni's work.
Trying to make contact via alx is in any case the best bet since Nanni isn't around anymore either.

Thanks Mathias

I'll post over you site to see if I can contact Alx

This is part of the G.50 readme file

Many thanks to Giovanni "Nanni" A. Cignoni for historical research and development on the italian gauges.
Some italian gauges are added in the 2D panel, courtesy of Alex (Backfire) Boshkatov, Melville Consulting, R.L.Clark, ERK panels, Gerardo Taccoli.
Special thanks to Moparmike also for help on the gauge thing.

Hi Capun
Only some instruments for Fiat G.50 were made by me. They are:
Televel G50
Iniettore Pneumatico Caretta
Teletermometro

you can use them freely. Just give a little words of credit.
Anyway you can find any other Italian instruments browsing the
following MAW Italian planes :
Fiat Cr 42
Fiat Br 20
Macchi 200
Macchi 202
Caproni 311 and 313
SM 79

And you can use any of them giving proper credit.
If you need one or more instrument you can't find in those
planes, just ask and will do the proper face.
Best whishes
Alessandro

Ndicki, if you read this, did you get my mail about a week ago?

Alessandro

Many thanks for the permission and by all means we will credit you and your team mates for their work done.
