How do you install repaints into CFS3. Also, What programs can I use to paint aircraft (A.K.A the firepower B-24) in CFS3, and where can I get them,

Jack

2 ways.
1. Just put the repaint files in the a/c folder i/o the existing ones.

2. Better. Make stand alones. Details how to do it are in the CFS3 d/l section.

Thanks, Almost there, But what does i/o mean?

That's the good thing about making them standalones; you can use all! ( Or you could make .bat files to swap them in and out + delete the bdp file)

So where is the CFS3 D/L section, where I can find out how to make standalones? Tell Me than and I'm All set.

DonSPa, you've beaten me to it!

Jack, it looks daunting, but if you follow the tutorial absolutely to the letter, it's dead easy. If it doesn't work, to begin with, rather than looking and looking for the mistake you made, just delete the thing and start again. Miles easier, until you get the feel for it.

Good luck! It'll make all the difference between a boring sim and a fantastic one!

If you want to paint your own, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or apparently, the Gimp (?) are the thing. You need a layering program. It's a bit complicated to explain just like that, but there are some ready-to-use templates by Wildbat and Soupdragon in the downloads section that you can cut your teeth on.
