This is an installation guide of xVision for X-Plane 11. I will show you how to install xVision, and the changes I made to the Impressive preset to make my videos look the way they do.

Guess I need more practice. I saw no difference after boosting settings from the default. Maybe I'll try one of the presets and see what I get.
 
Thanks for the HU. Must have overlooked that and put it on my wishlist for next puchases.

This might just be the cream topping to make this great looking sim look perfect.

Ok well, it seems that despite following the few directions given during the supposed "Installation", it did not install. . .but instead just placed everything I did into the same folder I unzipped to run the installer. I found some additional "presets" on the X-Plane.org site and while reading through the info on those it said to add to the XVision folder in the X-Plane folder. I didn't have that. . .that's when I went looking to see why.

When I ran the installer initially it asked for the X-Plane folder location which I browsed to and selected, so my assumption was that it was installing there. . .even input the registration key and so I had no reason to think it wasn't doing what it's supposed to. I'm going to run the installer again.

UPDATE: Pilot Error!

Over at Orbx, a couple of users and JV himself have developed presets for Xvision and, I imagine, for the GB series. I tried the one by Renault and it's very good.
