How to Start a Flight on Runway Ready to Fly?

1970LT1

Charter Member
For some reason, all my aircraft are now "cold and dark" when I start a free flight. What and where do I change a setting so they start on the runway with all systems running, engines started and ready to fly?

Thanks in advance.

Did you by chance change the default flight at all? When you start up FSX, does it start with the Ultralight Trike at Friday Harbour?

what the post above state. Just start up c172 and save as default.

That should sort it.

Otherwise its a case of what aircraft have you installed recently that could have caused this?

Strangely, I've loaded the 172, started it, and saved it as default, and that didn't solve the problem. I haven't installed any aircraft recently, but installed FSX Global 2008 mesh over the weekend. I can't believe that would have done it because I flew a few flights afterwards with no problem. The issue started with the IRIS Vulcan which I tried for the first time last night (installed awhile ago), and it won't even start with ctrl-e; one engine goes to 10% and then shuts down. I wonder if the first use of the Vulcan did something. I'll have to head over to the IRIS forums. Perplexed and worried.
