HU For T-37 Switch Panel

This should have been obvious to me but wasn't til after I had posted the zipfile in the other thread. I changed the xml code for both Jet1 and Jet2 switches. Consequently if you are using those particular switches on any other VC or 2D panel, the cab file I included in my original thread has overwritten those two switches and they will probably no longer function as they should.

I have attached another zip that includes the original default cab file to replace the one I screwed up and a replacement cab file with a different file name and the necessary changes made to the panel config section. So if this miscue of mine affects your setup, drop the two cab files in this zipfile into your gauges folder (allow it to overwrite when asked) and replace the section in your panel config with the new one enclosed.

Hope all that makes sense and sorry for the mix-up.

It would be great if folks who download this panel could report back about whether or not it's working. Just downloading it doesn't help if you are having problems, didn't like it after you got, some things work others don't, it works great, it doesn't work at all, it broke my computer and I'm suing you. . .thanks for doing this. . .something.

Just downloaded it. Will definitely test and report back, but not tonight anymore I'm afraid. Just got home from work and I'm knackered!

Cheers,

Johan

ok, I couldn't resist! Even though I'm no startup procedure guy, I must say that this works great!

Well done Ed! Hope you'll accept my compliment even when I'm no expert!

lol, yep, I'll have to remember that Paul. I was hoping the developer would chime in but he's a pretty busy guy I guess. His idea of possibly working it into an FSX Native model sounded good, but with his commitments, it may be a very long time.

I have d/l it but I ran into other issues in the sim whereby the hat views are now like stirring porridge for some strange reason. So I haven`t had a chance to try it out yet. I will report back if I ever get this issue sorted out.

Not sure I understand. . . .what exactly is wrong with the views?

Nothing to do with the T-37, it is the views controlled by the X-52 hat switch in the VC of any aircraft, something has caused them to be extremely sluggish.

Naismith, that could be due to the gauges you use. Do you still use the original gauges of the model? Have you kept the 2d panels?

Cheers,

Johan

No there is something amiss & nothing to do with the T-37. I think it is a conflict in the controllers somewhere between FS default controls, FSUIPC, X-52 J/S, Saitek Cessna Yoke & Saitek Throttle Quads (2 of them).
The Views are sticky now the roll rates of all aircraft are sluggish too.
I am thinking I will need to reset everything to default and start reprogramming all controllers from scratch. :pop4:
