HU: Mini IMP from A1R released

Just stumbled over this new release on the marketplace from A1R Design Bureau. The Mini IMP.

And since I really enjoy the level of detail and the choice of aircraft from this developer this was an instant purchase for me. Just had a short flight and the overall quality is as excellent as expected from A1R. It flies just too well:oops: Dropping airspeed for a landing is a real challenge with this tiny lightweight "pocketrocket".

I have to agree! the Imp is a blast to fly. I had to adjust the controller sensitivity curves a bit first. It is slippery. You need to leave plenty of time to set up for landing. Very well modeled and textured IMHO.

I'm normally not into this kind of planes, but this one has a very seducing design, I have to admit.
Also, I love your screenshot over Heidelberg :cool: I haven't been there since 10 years now... I wonder if some of my favorite restaurants still exist...
 
The second one. They did a great job on improving Heidelberg in the last Update.

The quite challenging flightmodel especially on landing is really enjoyable and will keep me busy for a while. And I like the overall concept and design of this tiny bird.
 
Sweet little airplane! I need to get use to the rear stabs as rudders. Also it's bouncy on landing, but that is probably me too. All of my screenshots are too large I am informed by SOH to attach. What are the rules on the size? I see some rather large screenshots here, what's my problem?
 
Are your screenshots PNGs, Cazzie? Those usually have big file sizes. Converting to JPG usually fixed the issue.

There's a great freeware image converter called XnConvert I use to batch-convert screenshots to JPG and shrink them (since my monitor's resolution is 5,120x1,440).

No Denny, they are .jpg, but it could be that their size is 1920 X 1080 pixels. Thanx for the XnConvert lead, will try it.

If you use an image hosting site like Imgur, you can use the BBCode link they provide when you click the Share icon. I'll mention the size limit to the people that have that level of control.
