Adding to the joy, the next two parts of Michael Pearson's AI Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer sets are up on Avsimrus (and will undoubtedly be on Avsim soon).

Wow, smooth gauges, amazing details to model and systems, easy on on my old pc. Somehow managed to start it and made two successful takeoffs and one landing :D, on first flight stewardess asked to turn on more heating, on second she said it was too hot :D Does anybody know english manual, those Russian technical terms are a bit too much for my poor Russian?

You're right Kikas, this is an outstanding aircraft. Beautifully done. The VC is gorgeous and includes the navigators position with working instruments. Thanks for the translating the flight attendant's comments. I thought they were saying that my flying was frightening the passengers. Will post here if I find an English manual.
 
Hurricane - a favor to ask of you - in your travels around the net, looking for English manuals for Russian aircraft - could you advise me re: whether you've found a site that may have one for the An-12? I've tried looking but can't find anything. The translator bit would work fine if there were a workable manual for this latest version of the An-12 but I don't believe it came with one. Can you keep a lookout please? Thanks!

I will certainly keep an eye out for these manuals SS. A few forums have some information on specific questions, but no manuals. Vladimir Zhyhulskiy's new An-12 is very impressive, but I set it aside because I couldn't get it to work very well at all. I hangered it and went back to the older model, but I'll see what I've got on the new one when I get a chance.

But it does!!

Of course you can't see out the pit as the glass is all black, as are the instrument faces; and it cuts my frame rates in half :dizzy:. But man is this VC nice, payware nice, as is the exterior :encouragement:. Now I just have to play around with the glass textures and see what I can see :biggrin-new:. Then we'll hope I can figure out what everything is and actually get her in the air.

Check the Avsim thread...Ncooper posted a fix for FSX.

i'm still can't fly this tupo and I don't know if systems works well in FSX but textures looks superb with the fix.

Can you post a link, I've tried and failed to find it. And what is the deal with the slooooow Avsim forums.
